For the sixth consecutive year, the Albéa Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development has been rewarded with the Gold medal by EcoVadis. 

With 80/100, this places Albéa among the top 3% of all companies rated by EcoVadis.

François Tassart, CEO of Albéa, stated,

“The significant improvement of our overall score and particularly in labor and human rights as well as in sustainable procurement proves that our day-to-day efforts and the actions implemented over the past year are paying off”. He adds: “The next step for us is to reach our target of 100% of our 35 plants audited by the end of the year while working towards a consistent CSR level across all of them – our 13 Platinum- and 12 Gold-awarded plants are the benchmark.”

It is the biggest improvement of the group, which managed to increase its sustainability performance in all four rated themes: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
